"I bought a new vehicle and they quickly added it to my policy. I later sold one of our other vehicles and although, I paid for a full 6-month policy, they refused to refund my money and said that they would apply a credit to my next bill instead. I asked her office to have Kristi call me as she was my actual agent. It took her 3 days to return my call knowing that she had an unhappy customer. I asked other insurance agents if this was an industry standard and they said no. When I told her that I didn't think it was right for State Farm to keep my money when I was requesting a refund (having never been late with a paym't and ALWAYS paying for the entire 6-month policy) and I told her I was going to take my business somewhere else, she LAUGHED at me. I quickly took both my home and auto elsewhere...and the icing on the cake is that I was able to save a combined $1k on my policies (with better coverage)!"

"Our experience with State Farm as an insurance group here in Houston during the past 3 months has been extremely difficult. From getting passed on to different adjusters, not able to get anyone on the phone, and slow responses...we will be sending our money elsewhere when all the damage claims are settled.
